Nurse Day Caricature Event.

Event: Nurse Day Celebration.

Date of event: 31 Dec 2012 (Tuesday).

Venue: Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Yishun, Singapore.

Duration: 2.30pm to 4.30pm (2 hours).
Average drawing speed: 6 minutes per head.

The nurse day at KTP hospital required 3 caricaturists to cater for more nurses who wanted their faces drawn. My caricaturist friend Jit ask me & Kamal to team up with him for this event. It was held at a special room that has a full height clear glass wall on the 1st floor. All 3 of us have our own individual table to set up our work stations. As usual, the session went on smoothly with everybody happy to get a caricature to bring home.

The client from MediaCorps came to do a sketch for the use in one of their Mandarin drama on Channel 8. They requested 2 sketches with one of them unfinished & the other one fully completed. In the episode, there were 2 scenes showing the actor sketching an uncle sitting in front of him at a hawker centre. The first scene showed him just started the sketch with line-work & the second, showed the actor completed the drawing. 

In actual fact, the sketches were done from a photograph in my studio.

Venue: Duchess Ave, Singapore.

Duration: 3.00pm to 5.00pm (2 hours).
Average drawing speed: 6 minutes per head.

An engagement of my caricature service by the mother of Kay to celebrate her 8th birthday at a condo Casa Bella's Function Room. When I reached the main gate of the condo, the children were so excited & kept waiving at me from the function room window.  Apart from the kids, the grand parents of Kay were also interested to be drawn by me. As usual, the session went smoothly & all the kids got their caricatures as a memorable gift to bring home.
